RunRivals Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of RunRivals operated by RunRivals LLC. By downloading, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. Eligibility & Account Creation

• You must be 13 years of age or older to register for an account or use the Game.
• Registration is done through Unity Player Accounts. You agree to provide true, accurate information, and to keep your credentials secure.

2. Use of the Game & Conduct

• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and not to engage in abusive, harassing, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate behavior.
• You agree not to cheat, hack, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Game or its infrastructure.
• Any chat or social feature must be used respectfully; you are responsible for what you share.

3. In-Game Purchases & Virtual Goods

• RunRivals is freemium: core gameplay is free; certain optional features or items may be purchased.
• Purchases are handled via Unity’s payment system, and are subject to their policies.
• Virtual items or benefits do not necessarily have real world value and cannot be traded between users.

4. Intellectual Property

All content in the Game — including code, graphics, music, text, logos — is owned by RunRivals LLC or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Game in accordance with these Terms.

5. Termination / Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account or access if you violate these Terms (for example by cheating, violating acceptable use rules, providing false information, or misusing chat). On termination, you may lose access to your account, virtual items, game data, etc.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• The Game is provided “as-is” and “as-available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• We do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.
• In no event will RunRivals LLC be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or use of the Game, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
• Health Disclaimer: RunRivals promotes physical activity, but you are solely responsible for your own health and safety when using the Game. RunRivals LLC is not responsible for any injuries, medical conditions, or health issues (including but not limited to fatigue, overexertion, falls, or other accidents) that may arise from your participation in physical activities while playing the Game. Please consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Game will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Mississippi.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and post the new Terms (in-game, or on the website). If you continue to use the Game after the new Terms are posted, you agree to the updated Terms.

9. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms will continue in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy represent the entire agreement between you and RunRivals LLC regarding the Game.
